A
new project for Sooke District Lioness - Ed West Alternative High School downstairs
at the Worklink Employment Society. The school is for teens who haven't benefitted
from the regular school system. Teacher Hammond Domenicelli chose books based
on his students interests and on Feb. 5th, members of the Sooke District Lioness
Club visited the school to present the books and learn about this very important
school. The presentation was done by Lioness Anne
S., founding member of the original Sooke Lioness Club, whose grandson is a student
at the school. Lionesses Jean W and Jean C learned about this school and were
responsible for bringing this project to the attention of our Club.
