ZC Lion Joan Chevrier visited our Club accompanied by longtime Lion Addie H and new Lion Annette May 3rd. ZC Joan complimented the Sooke District Lioness on the many projects we do for our community.

Following ZC Joan's talk, President Anne presented her with a certificate from the Sooke District Lioness in support of Dog Guides.

Sooke Lion Mike T addressing our April 5th meeting. His topic: the upcoming 2012 Convention to be held at the new Prestige Hotel in Sooke. Lion Mike was telling us about plans to involve all 3 Sooke Lions and Lioness Clubs in this very special event.

ZC Lion Mari visited the Sooke District Lioness Club at our Feb. 2nd meeting. She talked about the project for a new Lions Club sign on the highway coming into Victoria and about projects for the hearing disabled and for volunteer students.

Sooke Lions President Larry presented Lioness President Gail N with a cheque to thank us for assisting at the Sooke Hard Times Dance held Jan. 31st, 2010. Lioness Gail and Lioness Ellen M volunteered at this annual event.
