Intoducing Sookie Sally

2011

Believe it or not!

One day when I was walking on Whiffin Spit this gorgeous creature leapt out of the water with "a tale to tell".

Her Momma was a"wild " Sooke girl and her Daddy was a "farmed boy". No one wanted this poor lost soul!

So, I told the other Lioness, we quickly adopted her and she lives on happily in the hearts of the Sooke District Lioness!!

Is there more to this 'tale' ?

Stay tuned - one never knows!!

Thankyou so much, Lions!

Lion Dave guarding the door

Lioness Liaison Lion Dave N guarding the door until 9 a.m. - keeping the "early birds out" while we prepared for our big sale in a new location - the diningroom at the Sooke Community Hall (no rain and wind to worry about like last year !) All of our profits will be used to help send a child with disabilities to Easter Seal Camp Shawnigan this summer.

Organizing the books

Lots of organizing to do in a the hour before the sale starts - books and videos and tapes to organize, merchandise to display, and of course, "Is that coffee ready yet!"
