SPIRIT
BEARS
in
the City
- a project of the British Columbia Lions Society for
Children with Disabilities
The
highlight of the afternoon was the unveiling of the Camp
Shawnigan Spirit Bear by the artist, Patriica Banks, and
some of the campers and staff. Appropriately named, "Spirit
of Friendship", the bear has to be seen to appreciate
how the artist has portrayed the special atmosphere of
Camp Shawnigan and the joys of being campers at this beautiful
facility.
