Shirley Day August 12, 2007 - Sooke District Lionesses Pres. Ellen Martin, Sec. Sue Waring and Jean Conway, Treas. Barb Young and Jean Whiffin volunteered to help with games and sales and other activities.

The Sooke District Lioness Club supports the Community of Shirley west of Sooke with financial contributions as well as with Lioness who volunteer their time each year.

 

Shirley Day 2008 will be Sunday, August 10th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Probably theme will be historical, in keeping with B.C.'s 150 year celebrations.
