June 22nd - Port Renfrew students with Lionesses Jean
W, Gail N, Diane M and Jean C, after presenting some books
to the students. We were accompanied by 1st Vice DG Al
Beddows (left back) and Lion Dave N from Sooke Lions Club.
We all enjoyed a year-end potluck lunch with the students,
teachers and parents, followed by a short program put
on by the kids.

15th - Port Renfrew Elementary School students and teachers
welcomed the Sooke District Lioness with a potluck lunch
and a short Christmas concert put on by the students.

are purchased by Lionesses Jean W and Jean C from a wish
list created by the teachers and students. We also provide
books for the school library.

and the preschoolers.

on Dec. 15, 2009 and were privileged to be invited to
a community banquet provided by the Pacheendaht Band at
the school, followed by a delightful Christmas Concert
put on by the children.

Lioness

District Lioness bookplate that she inserts in each book. Due to wild winter weather,
our Sacks and books could not be delivered by the Lioness so were picked up by
one of the teachers on his way to Port Renfrew. The Lioness will be visiting "our
school" in the new year. |
