The
Olympic Torch will start its relay across Canada from Sooke at 7 a.m. on Saturday,
Oct. 31st ! This is a great honor for our community. Our beautiful Sooke will
be seen on media around the world. We hope the citizens of Sooke, whether they
support the Olympics or not, will make every effort to show off our lovely city
at its best. And we invite you to join us along the torch route Sat. a.m. to cheer
on the first Torch Bearers. The route will start from our City Hall, down Otter
Point Rd. to Sooke Rd. and finish at the T'Sou-ke Nation on Lazar Rd. |
