April 4th 2012, we mourn the loss of
Lioness
Jean Whiffin, a member of the
Sooke
District Lioness for 14 years.
She
loved being a Lioness, and worked hard on
our
many projects, especially her "Lioness for Literacy"
books
for kids, and Dog Guides.

annual Garage Sale was held March 10th in the
diningroom of the Sooke Community Hall-proceeds
will be used toward a campership for a handicapped
child to attend Camp Shawnigan. See
